The new curfew boundaries encompass a notable area; from I-395/Southwest Freeway in the north to South Capitol Street, following along the Anacostia River to 2nd Street, SW, down to P Street, and back up to I-395 via the Washington Channel, the specified zone is where individuals 17 and under will now find their evening movements restricted, they are prohibited from assembling in groups of nine or more unless partaking in activities that are on a list of exceptions. This zone is under curfew from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. starting August 1 and extending through August 4.
