DC police: Woman arrested for early morning shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said a woman was arrested after shooting someone in Northwest in the early morning hours on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers responded to the 1600 block of S Street at around 1:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. There, officers found a man who had been shot.

National Night Out events in DC, Maryland, Virginia

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
