WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said a suspect was arrested for a Wednesday shooting that left one person hurt.
On Aug. 6, at around 2 a.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the 2000 block of Benning Road in Northeast.

The suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal argument when the suspect took out a gun and shot the victim before running away.
