WASHINGTON, D.C. – Pepco customers with limited to moderate incomes in Washington, D.C., and Maryland may now be eligible for financial assistance through a newly launched Customer Relief Fund.
The fund, created through a donation from Pepco’s parent company, Exelon, will be administered by The Salvation Army. It offers up to $300 per qualifying customer to help cover energy bills.
How It Works
The Salvation Army will oversee the distribution of the relief funds, determining eligibility and processing payments directly to help offset customers’ utility costs.
