Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run on Southern Avenue in DC: MPD

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Southeast D.C. on Monday morning, according to police.

Details are limited; however, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the crash took place on Southern Avenue. This is where the Maryland and D.C. state lines meet.
