WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Thick black smoke could be seen billowing in Northwest D.C. on Saturday afternoon after a car crashed into a gas station’s fuel pump, sparking a fire.
In a post on the X platform just minutes after noon, the DC Fire and EMS Department said crews responded to a fire at a gas station in the 5500 block of Connecticut Avenue after a car struck a gas pump.
