The Metropolitan Police Department is reaching out for help from local residents to identify two individuals linked to a recent snatch-and-run theft. This crime occurred in the bustling heart of Northwest, D.C., adding to the series of petty thefts the area has witnessed lately.
According to a press release Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department issued, the incident took place on July 30, when, at around 7:31 p.m., a victim was suddenly confronted by the duo. The perpetrators operated with a brazen directness, one snatching the victim’s AirPods on the 1100 block of New Jersey Avenue, Northwest, then both suspects quickly making their escape from the scene.
In a bid to crack the case, the police have released surveillance footage capturing the persons of interest. They are calling on anyone with information that could lead to their identification to come forward, in the hope that community engagement will lead to swift justice…
