DC police arrest suspect in group robbery

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a suspect after a group of individuals robbed victims in Northeast.

MPD said that on Aug. 31, around 11:15 p.m., a group of suspects physically assaulted the victims before forcibly stealing items from them.

Police said the incident happened in the 5600 block of Nannie Helen Burrough Ave. NE.
