University of the District of Columbia awarded $4.3 million from Cisco

The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) has announced a $4.3 million in-kind gift from Cisco.

The gift will support UDC’s digital transformation process, strengthen cybersecurity, and expand research and learning opportunities. To that end, Cisco will facilitate campus-wide upgrades to protect UDC’s network and safeguard sensitive student and research data, while implementing its advanced, cloud-ready infrastructure to increase reliability and reduce operational costs.
