WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police took a 13-year-old boy into custody over the weekend after he was allegedly involved in robbing someone at gunpoint in July.
Officers arrested the teen, of Northwest, on Sunday, Sept. 7, more than a month after the July 30 robbery. The Metropolitan Police Department said multiple suspects had approached the victim just after 1:30 p.m. that day in the 1300 block of V Street, NW, demanding their property.
One of the suspects pulled out a gun, according to investigators. The victim complied, and the suspect fled with their belongings.
