WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — After a three-day trial, a D.C. jury found two men guilty of attacking a man outside of a liquor store with a wooden plank and a metal walking cane, the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) detailed.
The charges against 39-year-old Phillip Bealle and 54-year-old James “Stacey” Williams stem from an argument that started inside a Southwest D.C. liquor store on June 25, 2024.
Once the three were outside, the USAO said Bealle charged at the man when he tried to walk away. Then, Bealle began beating him with a 2×4 wooden plank from a nearby construction site…
