Seven Firearms Seized Over Alleged D.C. School Threats

The ATF and Metro Transit Police reportedly arrested a juvenile and seized seven firearms following social media posts that allegedly threatened a D.C. public school. Authorities executed a search warrant as part of the investigation. Transit leaders later commended the swift and coordinated law enforcement response, especially in light of a deadly school shooting in Minneapolis.

The MTPD Criminal Investigation Division and ATF conducted the investigation and executed the search warrant. The juvenile has been detained, and the D.C. Attorney General’s Office is reviewing potential charges.
