The Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum marks 58 years of honoring and preserving the community stories of Washington, D.C. This year’s anniversary celebration will take place Under the Stars on the museum’s plaza. Guests will enjoy live music from Joi Carter and band, explore the current exhibition A Bold and Beautiful Vision: A Century of Black Arts Education in Washington, D.C. 1900–2000, and savor small bites courtesy of Flavor Hive Food Truck.
