CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. — A 65-year-old man was flown to a Washington, D.C., burn unit Monday evening, Sept. 15, 2025, after being injured in a gas explosion.
Authorities reported the man suffered burns to his face, arms and hands after pouring gasoline on wood that ignited and exploded. He arrived at MedStar Urgent Care in Charlotte Hall around 5:20 p.m., where staff requested a medevac.
