Bathroom fire leaves 2 adults, 3 children displaced in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS responded to a small fire on Friday morning, which left a family displaced, officials said.

Two injured in shooting near KIPP DC school in Southeast

The call came in for the 5000 block of 14th Street, Northeast. Crews arrived and found smoke coming out through the roof of the home.

The blaze was traced to the upstairs bathroom and was quickly put out.

Crews then monitored to trace any residual smoke.

Officials said two adults, three children, and a dog were displaced, and the power was disconnected for safety…
