DC police arrest woman in armed robbery

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police announced that they arrested a woman in a robbery that took place on Monday.

The Metropolitan Police Department said that around 2 a.m., the suspect walked up to the victim in the 2000 block of Georgia Ave. NW and reached into the victim’s pocket to take money.

The victim asked for their money back, but the suspect took out a knife, threatened the victim and then escaped.
