Teen shot in Southeast DC, investigation underway

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a teenage boy was found shot in Southeast D.C. on Friday.

Details remain limited, but police said officers responded to reports of shots fired at 7:07 p.m. in the 700 block of Yuma St. SE.

Three DC inmates hospitalized after stabbings

There, a 15-year-old boy was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital, conscious and breathing.
