Man charged with first-degree murder in Southeast DC fatal shooting

Washington, DC — A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that left a Southeast DC resident dead last month, police announced Wednesday.

The shooting happened around 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, when Sixth District officers responded to the 300 block of Anacostia Road, Southeast, after reports of gunfire.
