The same day witnessed another reported altercation where, at about 4:30 p.m. on Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast, a victim became entangled in an assault stirred by a verbal dispute involving his girlfriend and two suspects. The subsequent days spiraled into further confrontations as another individual, on the evening of September 13, succumbed to a robbery under the heavy blanket of fear yielded by demands for her property on the 2400 block of 33rd Street, Southeast.
Turning the week, an armed carjacking introduced a knife into the equation on September 16, where a scooter-bound victim was threatened in the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, though, in a turn of fate, managed to flee sans injuries—the purloined scooter was later recovered.
