Arrest made in attempted stabbing of a rideshare driver in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Authorities said officers arrested someone who tried to stab a rideshare driver in Southwest D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department said the incident happened on Saturday at around 9:45 a.m.

Officers were flagged down in the 1100 block of 4th St. The victim told them that she had picked up the passenger, the suspect, and that they had a disagreement about the ride, leading to the incident.
