Robert Jameson, 60, a resident of the District, received a seven-year prison sentence for an armed robbery at O’Connor’s Liquors in Southeast D.C., as announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro. The sentencing, which took place in the D.C. Superior Court, also includes a subsequent five-year supervised release, as reported by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
According to evidence from the prosecution, on the evening of February 16, 2025, Jameson entered the liquor store, located on the 2900 block of Minnesota Avenue, flashed a firearm at the store manager, and made off with a box of Fireball shots and various lottery tickets. His attempt at stealing a the cash register was unsuccessful, and Jameson fled on foot. Later that evening, police officers, drawing on security camera footage from the store, located Jameson still dressed in the same identifiable clothing.
A search of Jameson’s home led to the discovery of the stolen Fireball shots and an imitation firearm. Following his arrest on the night of the incident, Jameson has remained in custody.
