WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police have arrested a suspect in connection with four Northwest burglaries, officials said.
DC police officers reportedly decry crime stat manipulation amid federal probe
31-year-old Samora Buchanan of Northwest, D.C., was arrested and charged with four counts of burglary in the second degree.
In all the following offenses, the suspect is accused of unlawfully entering the establishment, stealing property then fleeing the scene:
- On Friday, Sept. 26, around 5:40 a.m., in the 900 block of U Street, Northwest.
- On Saturday, Sept. 27, around 1:40 a.m., in the 1400 block of T Street, Northwest.
- On Wednesday, Oct. 1, around 1:05 a.m., in the 900 block of U Street, Northwest.
- On Thursday, Oct. 2, around 1 a.m., in the 900 block of U Street, Northwest.
In at least three out of the four incidents, the suspect was able to enter the businesses through the roof, according to police reports.
