16-year-old and 18-year-old accused of shooting fireworks at police in Vienna McDonald’s

VIENNA, Va. (7News) — Vienna Police Department (VPD) officers have arrested two teens for setting off fireworks in a Virginia McDonald’s.

Melanie Pedraza-Gutierrez, 18, of Falls Church, Va., was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including malicious bodily injury to law enforcement officers and disorderly conduct. A 16-year-old was also arrested and faced similar charges.

The charges stem from an incident that took place around 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 26, when Vienna police officers responded to a reported fight involving a large group of high school students at a McDonald’s on 544 Maple Ave. West.
