Name of man killed by task force after deadly domestic violence murder in DC released

WASHINGTON (7News) — 7News has learned the name of the man suspected of killing his romantic partner, and then was gunned down by law enforcement at an apartment in Washington, D.C., a few days later.

Court documents obtained by 7News confirm that Marco Alexander Moore, 45, was wanted for first-degree murder while armed, premeditated, in the Oct. 5 shooting death of Maurisha Singletary.

Singletary, 33, was found shot to death inside her apartment in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue after Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the area in regard to a welfare check call from her family…
