11 people were shot at seven overnight incidents, police say

WASHINGTON (7News) — D.C. police are investigating the shootings of 11 people overnight at seven different locations. These shootings took place within nine hours.

The shooting incidents, as provided by the Metropolitan Police Department, are as follows:

  1. On Friday, October 24, 2025, at around 5:37 p.m., officers were sent to a hospital for a report of two walk-in shooting victims. Upon arrival, officers found two juvenile females, both conscious and breathing, suffering from injuries. Police said investigators later determined that one had been shot and the other was injured in a fall. This incident is believed to have occurred in the 800 block of Yuma Street SE, police said.
