WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — The homicide rate in D.C. has fallen sharply this year — down 40% compared to the same time last year, according to new data from the Metropolitan Police Department.
Even more striking, detectives have solved a higher percentage of cases this year than in any of the past six years.
