US Attorney Pirro discusses safety concerns with DC community after a violent weekend

WASHINGTON (7News) — After a violent weekend during which D.C. saw several shootings and carjackings, the city’s top prosecutor heard directly from one community.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro held a public meeting at MPD’s Fifth District office on Tuesday, just hours after another shooting happened just a few miles down the road, where two teenagers were shot.

“I’m telling you right now, not enough is being done in the District,” Pirro said to the crowd. “I need you to help me to fight crime. I need you to tell me what the problems are.”…
