DC Violence Interrupter faces drug charges, found with gun stuffed in his underwear

WASHINGTON (7News) — Levon Williams, a former D.C. violence interrupter, walked out of DC Superior Court on Tuesday after a hearing on his September arrest on accusations of illegally carrying a gun and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Shortly after his arrest, Williams was fired from his job at Hillcrest Children and Family Services, a contractor that provides violence interrupters to D.C.’s Office of Neighborhood Safety, or ONSE.
