Report finds insufficient rehabilitation may contribute to reoffending juveniles in DC

WASHINGTON (7News) — A new report by an oversight agency revealed the majority of juveniles they studied at one of D.C.’s detention centers end up reoffending, possibly linked to insufficient rehabilitation services.

The Office of Independent Juvenile Justice Facilities Oversight (OIJJFO) released the report earlier in the week, focusing on the juveniles being held at the New Beginnings Youth Development Center.
