The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a felony assault in Northwest Washington, D.C. The incident happened on November 1, 2025, at about 12:25 a.m. A woman was attacked after leaving a train at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police say a group made comments about the victim and her friends’ Halloween costumes. One person then struck the victim from behind, causing her to lose consciousness.
