Anacostia: Atlas Bridge District Brewery & Tap Room debuts its newly relocated flagship location on Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m., marking the first and only beer production east of the Anacostia River. To celebrate, score a free slice of Andy’s Pizza with the purchase of a pint during opening weekend. Downtown: Music-loving cocktail lounge Goodlove opens Friday, November 7, in Midtown Center. The intimate bar from Darren Hinds and executive chef Lonie Murdock — the Toronto-based duo behind the new Caribbean-chic restaurant Isla next door — showcases classic cocktails and their remixed counterparts. A dirty martini, for instance, gets an updated edge with sake, tomato brine, and a spice tinture. A section of small “Love Bites” sourced from Isla includes plantain chips with a chile-lime sauce and wagyu oxtail patties featuring a fermented mango sauce.
