Man Charged with Robbery After Northeast Washington, D.C. Incident, Metropolitan Police Make Swift Arrest

A man was arrested by the Metropolitan Police after a robbery in Northeast Washington, D.C. Officials said it happened on Saturday, November 1, 2025, around 3:30 p.m. on Market Street. The suspect attacked a man from behind and stole his cellphone but quickly threw it away while running off. The victim was treated for minor injuries, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
