Man fatally stabbed on Morris Road in Southeast DC dies after emergency response
Washington, DC – Monday — A 21-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital Saturday night after a violent stabbing on Morris Road in Southeast DC, but despite efforts by medical crews, he later died from his injuries, prompting a homicide investigation now underway in the District.
Emergency crews responded around 8:35 p.m. to a call for medical assistance in the 1300 block of Morris Road SE. The victim, identified as Contee Cross of Southeast, DC, was found conscious and breathing with an upper body injury.
