WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man is facing up to 30 years in prison after he was found guilty of a November 2024 tourist stabbing, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
The USAO stated that Maurice Felder, 54, was convicted on Oct. 15 of assault with significant bodily injury while armed, assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

According to court documents, around 1 a.m. on Nov. 10, 2024, the victim and his friends were walking near the intersection of 7th Street NW and T St. NW as they were visiting the District for the weekend from Pennsylvania.
