WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Firefighters battled a building fire in Northeast D.C. on Thursday afternoon.
DC Fire and EMS responded to the 400 block of Rhode Island Avenue. Fire had broken out on a porch at the back of a building on the second floor.
DC issues cold alert ahead of freezing weather
The wind then spread the fire to other nearby porches before it eventually spread into the building itself.
No injuries have been reported, but displacements are anticipated…
