WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are investigating after a man was injured in a Northwest D.C. shooting early Sunday morning.
The Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the shooting in the area of North Capitol Street and M Street NW just after 4:40 a.m. There, police found a man who had been shot.

Medics arrived at the scene and rushed the man, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment.
