WALDORF, Md. (DC News Now) — A man from Waldorf will remain behind bars for more than a year after a traffic stop in Washington, D.C., took a turn in 2024.
It all began on the evening of Oct. 2, when D.C. police officers stopped 27-year-old Edward Devon Gadson, who was driving a Dodge Durango with heavily tinted windows.
The traffic stop took place in the 2300 block of Green Street SE in Anacostia, where officers observed a plastic bag on the back passenger side floor of the car. The bag appeared to have gun accessories inside, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
