Man tackles, fatally stabs woman’s thigh in front of her 12-year-old, near BP gas station

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A 30-year-old man was found guilty of murder on Nov. 12 after stabbing a woman in front of her 12-year-old child, near a gas station in October 2021.

Around 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2021, Danielle Stuckey, 27, was walking through the BP gas station with her 12-year-old child to a nearby bus stop, near Alabama Avenue.

Around the same time, Tywan Morris pulled into the gas station with his girlfriend and child. As he was pumping gas, Stuckey approached him and began arguing with Morris and his girlfriend.

Stuckey then walked back to the bus when Morris grabbed a knife with brass knuckles attached. Morris gave his girlfriend the knife, who tried to stab Stuckey, but was unsuccessful…
