How the theft of 720 eggs led police to a car stolen from the DC Police Department

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — Two men are facing charges after police say they used a car stolen from the Metropolitan Police Department to take 60 dozen eggs from outside a Takoma Park store.

According to the Takoma Park Police Department, 21-year-old Luis Thompson-Jones from D.C., 32-year-old Jesus Juarez-Posadas from Hyattsville, and 25-year-old Joseph Arkong from Hyattsville were arrested on Thursday and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, theft, and multiple active warrants.
