WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police arrested a 15-year-old accused of an assault with a gun in Northeast.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on Thursday, around 1 p.m., a DC Public Schools officer saw the suspect walk up to the victim and show a handgun in the 1700 block of East Capitol Street, NE.

The officer detained the suspect until MPD officers arrived. They recovered a handgun and arrested the teen.
