Waldorf Man Gets 21 Months For 35 Illegal ‘Glock Switches’ In D.C.

WASHINGTON — A Waldorf man has been sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison after D.C. police found 35 illegal “Glock switches” in his SUV during a traffic stop in Anacostia.

Edward Devon Gadson, 27, was sentenced Nov. 19, 2025, in U.S. District Court to 21 months in prison after previously pleading guilty to unlawful transfer and possession of a machine gun and aiding and abetting, according to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro. U.S. District Judge Amit P. Mehta also ordered three years of supervised release.

The case stems from an Oct. 2, 2024, stop by Metropolitan Police Department officers in the 2300 block of Green Street SE. Around 5 p.m., officers pulled over a Dodge Durango with heavily tinted windows and found Gadson behind the wheel, according to court documents…
