WASHINGTON (7News) — Councilmember Janeese Lewis George announced Monday that she will run for D.C. mayor.
Lewis George, 37, is a member of the Democratic Party and currently represents Ward 4. She was elected in 2020, took office in January 2021 and then elected to a second term in 2024.
