The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a shooting on August 16, 2025, in Southeast Washington, D.C. The incident happened at about 2:12 p.m. inside a business on the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. Police say the suspect tried to rob a victim and shot them as the victim tried to escape.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect was seen on surveillance video. Police ask anyone with information to contact them or use the department’s tip line. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case…
