Prayer vigil for National Guard member shot in DC to be held Friday at Musselman High School

INWOOD- A prayer vigil for a Musselman High School alum is being held on the evening of December 5th, nine days after the man they’re honoring and hoping to lift up was shot only a few hours away in Washington, DC.

National Guard member and US Air Force SSgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24-years-old, remains hospitalized but has shown signs of alertness, including giving a thumbs up to his doctors and wiggling his toes. SSgt Wolfe was shot while patrolling the nation’s capital on Wednesday, November 26th. Another Guard Member who was shot, another West Virginia Native Sarah Beckstrom, died on Thanksgiving Day after receiving care.

A prayer vigil for the Inwood, WV high school alum will be held at the school located at 8630 Winchester Avenue, Inwood, WV 25428. Starting at 7pm on Friday, anyone and everyone is invited to join the community in prayer at the school’s football field in support of the man most know as Andy Wolfe…
