WASHINGTON D.C. (WBOY) — West Virginia Senator Jim Justice brought a little piece of home to his office in Washington D.C. with the help of some Nicholas County Career and Technical Center students.
The senator’s office unveiled a new Almost Heaven swing in Justice’s office on Thursday, bringing a piece of West Virginia to the nations capital.

“I’m thrilled to bring another piece of my home state all the way to D.C.,” Senator Justice said in a press release. “I hope everyone who stops by this swing feels a little closer to West Virginia and is inspired to come see for themselves why we truly are Almost Heaven.”
The Almost Heaven swing initiative got its start in 2022 to boost West Virginia tourism and encourage people stop, take pictures and enjoy the beauty of the Mountain State, with each one being made by students at the Nicholas County Career and Technical Center.
