Buffalo Wild Wings to Serve Its Final Orders This Sunday

Buffalo Wild Wings will officially say goodbye to Rockville this weekend. An employee at the restaurant confirmed to us that the location’s final day of operation will be Sunday, December 7, and noted that the restaurant is likely to close before its scheduled midnight closing time depending on when it runs out of food items to serve.

The restaurant, located at 33 Maryland Avenue, Suite C in Rockville Town Square, now known as The Square, has been a familiar presence in downtown Rockville for many years. Known for its wings, tenders, and signature sauces served in a sports-bar atmosphere, the restaurant has long been a go-to spot for game nights, gatherings, and casual dining.

We first reported on November 17 that the Rockville location was expected to close sometime in December, with December 7 being the likely end date. The Square has been working to revitalize its mix of tenants and restaurant offerings. Trader Joe’s opened there this summer, bringing increased foot traffic, and Fork & Kitchen, a new American restaurant with Southern influences, is expected to open by the end of the year in the former Ekó House and Bar Louie space.
