Transportation Secretary Duffy to meet with Gov. Moore about Key Bridge costs

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — After sending a letter warning about the growing cost of the Key Bridge rebuild effort, U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said he will meet with Gov. Wes Moore to talk about plans moving forward.

News of the meeting, which has yet to be set, came via news release Tuesday morning. Duffy said he will speak with Moore about several transportation related projects, including the Key Bridge – but also the American Legion Memorial Bridge on the Capital Beltway.

“I look forward to discussing the urgent matter of relieving severe congestion on the American Legion Memorial Bridge and getting the Francis Scott Key Bridge project back on track with Governor Moore.
