WASHINGTON (7News) — A 40-year-old man was sentenced to 45 months in prison for illegally possessing a semi-automatic pistol and dealing crack cocaine, according to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
Cevin Belton pleaded guilty to the crimes on Sept. 5. His arrest came earlier this year when he led police on a foot chase in Southeast D.C.
During that chase, Belton attempted to discard a gun that he had tucked in his waistband. Officers eventually caught him, recovering 15.5 grams of crack and $157 in cash, Pirro said…
