Four suspects were arrested in Downtown Silver Spring on Monday night after Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) plainclothes surveillance officers spotted a stolen vehicle driving along Fenton Street near Wayne Avenue.
According to MCPD 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos, the car had been reported stolen out of Washington DC and monitored as part of ongoing holiday crime suppression efforts. The vehicle entered the Wayne Avenue parking garage in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue, where officers moved in and arrested all four occupants.
