The DowntownDC Business Improvement District is inviting couples to Anthem Row on Saturday, Dec. 13, for a chance to help D.C. earn the Guinness World Records title for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe. The potentially record-breaking event will take place under the National Mistletoe, a stunning 10-foot installation of blooms, ribbons and greenery suspended 30 feet in the air.
The current record stands at 480 kissing couples and is held by Anheuser-Busch after a holiday celebration in St. Louis, Missouri, in December 2019.
